My name is Erika, I'm from Colombia, I've been a tech enthusiast since my childhood and that's led me to pursue a career in software web development. I am a lifelong learner, I thrive when tackling new challenges, and I am self-motivated to seek out new knowledge. In my free time, I indulge in reading, exploring new places, listening to music, and keeping fit by jumping rope and cooking nutritious meals.

Connect is a web application inspired by Twitter, and newly released Threads app (By Meta). It empowers users to create an account, establish a personalized profile, and easily upload or update their profile pictures. The platform boasts full responsiveness, enabling seamless usage across various devices. Users can compose, edit, delete, like, and repost posts, fostering an engaging social experience

Spotify Clone

Spotify Clone

A responsive Spotify clone built with Next.js 13, TypeScript and TailwindCSS. The app uses Supabase for Authentication and Database. The app allows users that are suscribed to listen and create their own library. The subscription and payment method was made through Stripe.

BookCove

BookCove

A book finder app that allows you to create a favorite list, you can sign up with your google account, read the description and see other details of your favorite book, and remove them from the list. The project was made with Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS. Firebase was used for authentication and database.

Movie Time

Movie Time

This movie web application allows users to explore popular movies, view movies filtered by genre, search for specific titles, view detailed movie information, and watch trailers. Developed using Angular, TypeScript, and Bootstrap, the application integrates seamlessly with the MovieDB API to fetch up-to-date movie data. Deployment is handled through Firebase, ensuring smooth and reliable hosting.

This project was an e-commerce platform created as a group effort for the Henry Bootcamp. We created our own information to use as an API and worked with PostgreSQL as the database. The backend was developed with Node.js and Express, and the frontend was created with React, Redux, Bootstrap, and Material UI.

This project is an individual work that was created for the Henry Bootcamp. It utilizes the PokeApi and uses PostgreSQL as the database. The backend was developed with Node.JS and Express, and the frontend was created with React, Redux, and pure CSS.

A simple Todo app built with Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS. It allows users to manage their to-do list. The app uses Firebase as its database.

Weather App

Weather App

A small front-end project utilizing Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS, which accesses the Open Weather Map API to fetch weather information. The purpose of the project was to become familiar with TypeScript and to continue practicing TailwindCSS for styling.
